While getting email tracking data for every recipient may be difficult or even impossible to achieve, there are some things you can do to improve the amount of email tracking data you receive with each Broadcast.
Naturally, not everyone will read your email message immediately. Furthermore, some recipients may be reported as having “Skimmed” or “Glanced” at your message when they’ve really only glanced at the message with the intention of reading it later.
Response values are constantly updated whenever the recipient is viewing the email so someone who has only skimmed your email message may become someone who thoroughly read your message later on. With this in mind, you may want to wait some time before viewing the Email Log for your Broadcasts. It may take some time to really see the complete delivery results.
Blank values in the Response column of the Email Log indicate that we did not receive any tracking data for those recipients. While this could mean that the contacts didn't open the email, it's more likely the case that their email clients are still set to block images from your email address.
You can improve the amount of tracking data collected for your Broadcasts by following these tips:
Encourage recipients to treat you as a trusted sender. If recipients tell their email clients to always accept images from you, then the web beacon will be loaded for every email.
Don’t frequently change the “From” address on your email messages. Once a recipient tells their email client to always accept images from you, it will do so whenever it sees an email from that particular email address. This will be broken if you change your “From” address, making the recipient need to actively accept images from the new address as well.
