Email Tracking Overview

The Email Tracking  feature helps you gain insight into how many of your message recipients are actually reading the content of your email messages. You can use this information to learn about your message recipients' reading behaviors, such as which types of emails are most frequently read and which are not.

Email tracking works by using techniques which are more typically employed in messaging software used by large companies to gauge the success of their customer communications. These techniques allow us to know that the email message was opened and also determine approximately how long a recipient has been viewing your email. We use this information to estimate whether, for example, the recipient quickly skimmed your message or read it more closely.

Viewing Email Tracking Results

You'll find the results from this feature included in a new column in the Email Log report for your Broadcast. Please view the Email Log help topic to locate and learn how to interpret these results.

Enabling Email Tracking

You don't have to do anything to enable email tracking. This feature has been automatically enabled on all email messages. If you would like to opt out of this feature, please contact support.
